Maybe we should encourage the breeding of Autistic people so that we can maybe force an adaption to their hypersensitivity... I think that could lead to some interesting traits.
Would these people become genetically different overall, would the be an advanced evolution of the human species?
Argh... the mind boggles.

Shut up, Maige.
You too, Joss.
Great video. I love when technology can help people like that. Very moving.

Don't you think though that there might be a reason for it?
We have effectivly silenced evolution in our species. Maybe this is an intended step for some reason?

Yes, because evolution is something that happens immediately. Because we haven't seen any traces of it in the last hundred years that we've had science clearly it doesn't exist. Its not like it took millions of years to get us to this point. Clearly we should be evolving greatly every generation.

Don't be an idiot.
Uh... Just because we didn't have science before 200 years ago or so doesn't mean we can't go back and look things before then...
And actually, evolution comes from random mutations and introduction of differences.
Look at domestication of the dog. That was selective evolution of different traits, and it was obviously done in the short time that we have been around. Yes dogs have a shorter time to maturation than humans, but still, its quite obvious that changes can occur very quickly.
Also it is suspected that mutations were random in earlier stages of most life forms in their evolutionary track, so what is to say that this hasn't been one of those recurring mutations that we just have not exploited as a species because we developed a status quo that says it is not correct.
This is a legit opinion, I am not really trying to troll here lol.

Nou has mentioned the breeding thing before ref: mixed races. So I believe it..
I'd still give Science some more time to maybe figure out what exactly leads to Autism.
Also, I have worked at an elementary school for children with Autism and did fieldwork at a Preschool...... not every case is as severe as her. Autism is a huge umbrella and no 2 cases are ever alike.
At both the schools... students were able to graduate and move on to regular schools.
edit - btw, not saying they were cured - just able to adapt more.

Now everyone go out and make sure your 3 year old's get their MMR's all at once, not separately, so you can have a brilliant child too who is trapped inside their body because their blood brain barrier is clogged with 300x the amount of heavy metal considered "safe".
inb4 statist sycophants.

Great, now the convo is going to be dominated by retards and not cool shit like jump starting human evolution.
BTW if those "conspiracy" reasons for autism are true, maybe we need to use them more.

By all means Nou, impregnate autistic women, you don't even need their permission, they can't tell.
If it is genetics, as most governmental apologists claim, with absolutely zero scientific proof; I don't know if fat, pathetic, bald autistic little trolls are an evolutionary advancement.

No. Evolution is just random. Just because something happened, it doesn't mean it happened for a reason other than the wiring being funky because of a change in its constitution.
