I'm not talking about transgression in this but....
Was this sarcastic or do you really believe that we should stop progressing?

Progression is what human life on Earth is all about. Progression of your morals, your intelligence, Progression in science and gadgets and programs that make our life easier especially in the music field, progression in friendship and love ones that make it better to really get to know someone over time and also spirituality. Also progression in your job to make more of that all mighty green paper. (USA only on the paper being green)

Really?

I'm not so sure. Narcissists love to start discussions about themselves

That's true, but this drive for progress is also the source of all human misery (as well as temporary joy).

Spirituality totally outside the scope of time so progress is irrelevant. The 'feeling of beingness' does not require any sort of superficial human progress. People have felt 'beingness' whether they were cutting things with stones or lasers. That sense of unity/oneness/love, is something else outside the scope of 'progress'. Progress essentially caters to the subjective 'quality of life', a concept completely relative to social mood and values. That is to say, the Sioux would not find the invention of an iPhone tantamount to any notion of 'progress' (if they even had the notion of progress)

Progress is a time-based conception of collective worldly actions. It is given importance when people collectively believe that their waking lives are the ultimate reality, and so they labor endlessly to prevent pain or prolong pleasure.

It was a deliberate and sarcastic syllogism - i.e. All cats are made from atoms. Atoms are invisible. Therefore all cats are invisible.

Without saying it's impossible, a pathological narcissist's ability to look inward is almost non-existent. Would a true classic narcissist venture to question himself; the existence or absence of conscience and the ramifications stemming from that in order to get attention? It's unlikely because most attention getting mechanisms used by the narcissist have a component of self-aggrandizement while being utterly lacking in self-awareness.

While the OP admits to being a narcissist, the pathology of his narcissism remains to be determined. The fact that he admits to being a narcissist and then brings up questions relating to his conscience indicates more self-awareness than a pathological narcissist has. I think it's more likely that he has narcissistic traits (common to pretty much everyone (in varying degrees and necessary for functioning in our daily interactions with others) he's becoming aware of than he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Life is not about progress, it is about effective survival. Progress simply develops an effective survival. You can look at Buddhist Monks, and ask what are they progressing at? None of the things we associate with progression, yet relative to their understanding, they are effectively surviving. And then if you look at different species of animals, what are they progressing at? Progression is not essential towards living, relative to human nature, psyche, biology etc. But of course, relative to modern development of socities, civilization, cultures, progression is essential, to keep up and effectively survive.

Explain your vagueness. And I dont mind a reputation amongst a few trolls. Naturally, one would develop given some of the stances I take. Now if I was a troll like you, i'm sure i'd be your friend lol, and have "good rep."

You've boiled down the existence of the conscious mind to a matter of survival. I could substitute the word, rats for Buddhist Monks and the meaning of the sentence, with the rhetorical euphemism in place, remains intact.

Why?

I sure don't subscribe to an Arbiterian theory of morals, but I don't understand why there must be no more so-called transgressions.

Typical delusional tool (literally). Survival is enabled by the body as much as the conscious mind. And for those that invest more heavily in the conscious mind toward survival, I stated the Bhuddist Monks as an example. And no I did not relate Bhuddist Monks to Rats, your delusions did that.
