just a realization for my case, when I had far less experience, i would create so many variation projects, and saves of the same track, that went different ways. These days i have usually a main file, maybe 2-3 variants at most.

been there. and u might know what track it is too lol. still not finished, 2 years later.

I lost many of my old projects, so now I have around 20. Nearly all of them are complete, or are nearly complete.

have 200 gb of project backups here. But I have done backups only since 2002/2003. All the old tracks that were made on a pc, forget them. All lost, which is REALLY annoying when it comes to remix parts of those oldies.
