Should have been more detailed in my response, i was talking more about the chill version...something wrong with the hi-hats.

With the 2nd remix i think its the swing(+delay?) that's bothering me a bit, but it sounds alright overall.

Well, you know my thoughts on each of them already, EZ, but I think I like the groove of the second one best. BTW, we've re-recorded the vocals (a minor 3rd higher) and I'll be sending them over. Not sure if you want to re-do the tracks in a higher key or not, but Aliciya's voice works in the higher register MUCH better!

I've got em and will be working on them. I figure it will be a great way to get some more experience AND incorporate some of the feedback I've gotten in this thread. I gotta say, also, thanks to both you and Aliciya. If the vocals I was working with weren't her at her best, they were still a pleasure to work with so I can only imagine what's in store. I'm also a little scared.

@ Viber: Thanks for the clarification. I should say the reason I'm asking is that I'm always trying to work for a bit of a seamless, hypnotic groove. Regardless, I appreciate the honesty.

I like both versions, very well presented and a pleasurable listening experience.

I think for the chillout to be true chill out I would like a more dubby/trippy style track but that is just personal preference.
It's not my cup of tea on the whole but definitely worth the listen.

Also like the percussive track that posted, you could really filth that up and just have vocal snippits popping in every now and then.

I will shut up now.
