It's like happy hardcore without the hardcore but... more happy. I didn't think it was possible, you've opened my eyes to a world of music that fills me with the most joy I've ever felt in my life. Never again will I be able to listen to anything else without it sounding gross and devoid of any emotion, like an ugly weed in the field of flowers that this music is. This is absolute beauty, perfect despite being no more than a simple electronic groove under the voices of three young Japanese women. My life can never be the same and I accept that wholeheartedly, seeing it as a ray of sunshine, no, an entire sky full of sunshine in what was a dark and dreary past. I can only hope that as I die, while my brain and body creep towards the end of my life, the last thought I have contains no more than two simple words: Sweet Doughnuts.
this is like....what a rainbow sounds like. it's so beautiful.

No, it's even better than that. It's like a rainbow over a field full of flowers and unicorns and magical purple trees. If you walk a little further from the field it begins to get wet and you see a small pond of sparkling water with rainbow fish that look strangely like dolphins but they're not, because they told you so, because they can talk. Surrounding the pond, there are pixies darting from tree to tree, each one leaves behind a trail of the dust that smells of joy you've never felt (or smelt, for that matter) before. And there are some gay unicorns fucking in the bushes.
That's what this is.

Shibuya-kei is SERIOUS BUSINESS!
That i-dep track is really nice. I almost want to slow it down and fit in into the ending of a Deep House set
There's one producer behind both Capsule and Perfume: Yasutaka Nakata. He has a pretty distinct style that comes through in nearly everything that he has worked with. He's kind of like the Stuart Price of Japan:
