Smart use of a compressor can also bring a sound up in volume without clipping it. Hope this helps as well

No, only been doing it since January of this year. I do have this really naggy technical side of me though. (Being a mechanical engineer)
Being able to make my sound quality better based on numbers is right up my alley.

Haha, as a computer engineer, I kinda feel for what you're saying. I just have to apply that to production

Alright, so ive been toiling around and although it took a while, finally got around to mastering it. Went and adjusted all of the volumes, changed some of the filters, put in an eq and put in a limiter. Its not 100% done, but its a start. Let me know if anything sounds off, cause my headphones have gotten a bit wonky lately.
