I feel you on the poor part. Me and Lizandro are so broke... we had to build our own desk. but the way its turning out id rather have this desk than a 5,000. atleast we picked out QUALITY wood and materials despite the very minor mistakes. I cant wait to post pictures.

^bought it at office depot for about 180 including tax. If you do end up buying it...don't. The worse part is assembling it together. Took me six freaking hours. Hated it lol. For the stands, i went to hobby lobby and bought two small wooden stand things or w/e, spray painted them black and put my monitors on them.
