Jeez, why do you have a bios password? Do what r5a said, but include ‘delete’ in those options. Find the setting that refers to bios password, and delete or disable it.

from what i read, looks like the toshiba laptop will force the user to set a BIOS password unfortunately after a random amount of time.

YAY!!!
Thanks LeopoldStotch, I know I can always depend on him to help me with my computer problems
I was able to change the bios password and disable it, so now that doesn't pop up every time I boot, and I was able to change my windows password, now it's all back to normal

Instead of making a new thread I'm just gonna ask this here.
My laptop does not want to start. I press the power button, it seems to be running, the power button light is on and laptop is 'humming'. But the screen is totally black.
It's been acting up for days, the screen would turn completely dark on me, as if it's going on hibernate while I'm already using it. So I would turn it off and restart it again and it would work.
But I haven't been able to turn it on since yesterday.
Anyone know what could be the problem?
I have a 1 year warranty on it so I will bring it to Future Shop for repair, but I would like to know if there is anything I could do first to make it work.

What do you is wrong with it? What could have caused the damage?
I'm just concerned with how long it would take for them to repair it as I'm going on vacation in a couple of days and I would like to bring it with me.
I just hope they can do the repair at the store and not have to send it to the manufacturer. That would take forever. =/
