Nope, most club use Rane mixers. Some of the Rane mixers do not have headphone mixing. Like previously said, its better to do both headaphone mixing and with one cup. If you have the split cue option on the mixer (Vestax PCV-275) u should try using that, its works better I think.

At first I use the monitors to beatmatch and I use the both TTs in the headphones for the fine tuning.

i dont split it...i have the same channel come out of both headphones

well...i only keep one ear on my phones so i guess it doesnt really matter

i find it's hard to hear when the beats are aligned with split cue on, so I don't use it.

Same. I find it so much easier. I never use split cue either. I don't think it really matters as long as the mixing sounds good.
BTW why the hell wouldn't a mixer have headhone mixing. They are like the $100 mixers. Why would clubs use those?

yup that's what I was thinking... even the cheapest mixers have that feature... actually, I'm not sure it should even be called a feauture, it's so basic...

The club I go to has some cheap ass mixer I have never ever heard of and it doesnt have split cue. The thing that really pisses me off about that club is that they also have a DJM 600 but only bring it out for the out of state DJs.
