Well, it's well more than $60/person, but for steak you're near one of Toronto's best: Barbarian's Steak House. But that's more like $100/person.
For Indian check out Bombay Palace. When other Indian restaurant owners that I've talked to over the years recommend a place as the best and most authentic in Toronto, I tend to listen. It's damn good & won't break the bank. Also, it's about a 20 minute stroll from your hotel.
As far as the tunes go, only you can figure out what you want to hear. But Vola will be a great crowd and killer tunes on Firday & it's not your typical afterhours crowd, especially compared to Montreal afterhours.
If you just want a typical corporate steak (albeit a decent one) with a little more ambiance then you could always check out The Keg Mansion. It's also not a long walk from your hotel.
If you want local flavour with a tonne of different local beers and solid food, well, I can't recommend C'est What on Front Street enough. It's also a short walk from there to Guvvy, so a decent stop off spot.
That's it for off the top of my head.
