That is really good.
But the main point for me would be that the Lemur doesn't have the enormous advantage of quality of touch which the iPad does have.
Also the price is obviously much better for an iPad

For that price though I'd want to have a better touch experience so my point would be that the iPad will be the better choice in the end when there's plenty of apps to choose from. Some of which that may even mimic everything you can do with the Lemur's software in the future.

regardless, the ipad is a good purchase because of its price, apps and community. there are some many cool things out there that could benefit live shows. rebirth and aura flux come to mind. i personally would really like one for the apps there are

-Expensive
-Worst than cdjs/tts even than a laptop
-Looks heavily unprofessional.
-You'd have to carry them to the club and start connecting wires and everything, waste of time.
-You need a midi controller, more weight to carry.

This left the ipad usage to this kind of people:

-Wannabe djs
-General stupids
-People with more money than brain

Using it as a complementary tool to trigger effects or something like this is Ok , substituting the cdjs and mixer with this no.
