I've become good at shooting over the years, thanks to my dad moving to the south & joining the NRA but I don't like it at all. It's stressful at best. I don't like the feeling of wielding that amount of destructive power, or of anyone else being able to. Shooting ranges are usually pretty serious business for me. They're more about me developing good accuracy in case of an emergency situation than they are about fun.

.22 has a purpose and it's been designed for something what it's good for. Never take it to a range 'cause it's fucking boring.

I've shot an M16A2, a crap load of different pistols, sniper rifle, M240 Machine Gun, M203 grenade launcher, AT4 rocket launcher.

I've also thrown live grenades. Feeling the percussion of it going off crouched down behind a wall 2 feet thick gets me hard.

i'm sure it depends from person to person but yeah, a .22 is like a pea shooter compared to other more common firearms that have a better chance of giving you a gun-boner. dunno if it's already been mentioned but try shooting a handgun. make sure it's turned sideways and that when you pull the trigger you stab your firing arm forward as you're shooting for maximum gangsta-badass effect.
