Some logic...A kick is by many dbs the loudest part of most electronic music, so it will have the most effect on hearing loss on average. Unless of course you are making music that has a mid range portion of your track consistently hitting high decibles every 4 bars. In that case you either suck at mixing or you are putting too much mid range in the track.
