Harbor Freight is awesome.

I bought a reciprocating saw there for like $19.99 and used it to slice up some large downed branches after a huge storm. Held up like a champ. Also got a big-ass torque wrench for like 11 bucks, still works great.

Cheap-ass tools ftw.

It's legit.

They have been giving those shit flash lights for the past few months at Harbor. That free flash light coupon is always in the back of a few automotive magazines that I subscribe to.

Their tools are perfect for people that wont use them much. They are a step up from fisher price and a step blow the sears craptsman thats now made in china.

The only thing I own from that place is an engine hoist and engine stand, other then that its all premium tools. I use my shit, so craftsman and harbor's china shit doesnt hold up for me...

I like the fact that I can break several of their cheap tools and still come out ahead financially, as opposed to buying an expensive one, assuming it's not something you're using on a daily basis.

especially specialty tools that you use once or only a few times for personal use or large sizes that would cost a fortune otherwise.

it's setup better now, that was when we first finished it. notice the jerry-rigged throttle since the orig. busted. we got rid of the centrifugal clutch and put a torque-a-verter on it. it pulls hard as hell out of the hole now. also have tires and wheels made for it. the only thing that got really hot was the clutch and its gone now.

That looks like a cross between a sewing machine and a sander was stuck on a mountain bike

I imagine it was pretty fun putting together, gotta love DIY projects
