It was my friends case, he dl'd them at work once, the second time at home and at the third time they were nowhere visible on the downloader.

It became a movie later.

Well yeah, I guess I'm on some kind of a transition phase then. It just feels too transparent to me after buying records for several years.

And what goes for blaming Beatport, I apologize. I said it is a way for me to get songs that I could never buy on a physical medium, and it works damn fine with this I guess.

Sorry for the rant. It spiced up my day though. (and hey, without people bitching, there is a chance things never developed as good as they are now. It's a big factor in Finland's welfare; we bitch about everything, even if it's good.)

Just download them and burn them to cd and make nice little labels to your hearts content. Shit, download the artwork (or your own if you must).

As retarded as it may sound, doing this to an unsigned fellow's songs from the forum, who had done all the artwork by himself was rather heartwarming at the time. Lightscribe made it even more cool.

You know the crazy thing is, if I hear an old track and can instantly see the record sleeve in my mind, and if I see a record sleeve the tune instantly pops in to my head and I can do it with nearly every single record I own (a few thousand).

I find it way easier to burn my tracks to CD (even a bunch of them and call them something or draw something on the CD - lame as it sounds, it gives me a visual representation of the tracks.

It may not work for a lot of people though ad I really only buy what I know I'm going to play with - A lot of people buy music on a whim or something they'll maybe listen to once or twice so it's not worth it.

Yep hated having to rename 50+ MP3s at a time, but the downloader is great to use, fast, and you can choose how your files are named. Well worth installing.

Yeah, after all I found it good too. The only minor thing was I couldn't get the mix name into brackets. I will make a proposal of adding the possibility though.

There were a lot of plusses, that I tend to ignore usually. I.e. the mp3 format was only available in constant bitrate, which will make sure it plays on nearly every car / mp3 player in the world.. They could have only had variable bit rate which according to my mathematics could save a lot of space and / or money.
