recent traktor systems are using a 2khz sine wave signal, with one of the channels being 90° off in order to determine the spinning direction. there's also some amplitude modulation going on to transfer a timecode.
try and search the traktor homepage. they have the timecode cds available for download as uncompressed wave files somewhere.
