I dunno if I like the master in the center like that. I can see the touch screen getting accidentally touched during a transition. Unless you have a steady hand like Stu pointed out.

That frequency mix mode seems like a nice idea. Could enable some incredibly smooth mixes. But I don't see it really working all that well with a touch screen that small. Dunno if it'd work well on a bigger touch screen either as touch screens lack the tactile feedback that most people want in DJing.
Making such a thing completely hardware controlled might not work too well either. You'd likely lose the bar-graphs indicating what's happening on each frequency at least and making a mixer with 7 crossfaders might a bit
I know Redsound had a mixer with three crossfaders, but that never caught on.
The art of DJing is now in the digital age, and the next generation of DJ mixers needs to keep pace with the CDJ revolution. Our DJM-2000 truly does that. The brand new DJM-2000 is our most powerful performance mixer and is the perfect match for the new industry-standard CDJ-2000 digital decks.

i like the effects trigged by a button, is a simple to use mixer but with lots of features, i don't understand the purpose of the touch screen though

Let's say you're straight mixing and don't want to use the touch screen, is there a way for the user to bypass the touch screen? If that would be option I would look into it a little more.

Yeah, you just hit the orange 'off' button next to the screen and use the rest of the mixer as usual...

Thanks Stu. I thought those turned off other things and not the screen.
