If I went into thanking Taj, 1015, Cece, Release, Spundae, and everyone else who has been involved with Ten15 in a major way since I moved to SF formally here, my post would probably end up a few thousand words and probably pretty obnoxious.
I think everyone who has been involved with Ten15 and knows me understands how much all their efforts have changed my life and how much I appreciate all their efforts. I don't think there's anyone who's been harder on the place than myself. But it was all said because I just wanted the place to succeed. Probably a bit immature in how I said a lot of things, though heh. I pretty much single-handedly got the old 1015.com forum shut down. I even got a call AT MY WORK from Dave Helms (head of security, who I heard left recently) to discuss some issues...hehe.
Anyhow, let me catch myself right there and just finish by saying that without EDM at Ten15, the entire city's EDM culture and acceptance would probably not be at the amazing level it is today. And as much as it was the venue, it's the people who booked the DJs and promoted the hell out of the nights all those years that deserve the credit. Taj definitely belongs on that list of credits.
