i have not seen him for over a year.

the most memorable moment for me, was dropping a loop of mr scruff get a move on during piknic electronik. ninja tune has always been a montreal staple...the fact that he realized this and turned it into a great transition from "ok i'm on now" to "let's give these drunks some party" was pretty amazing. Get a move on is not quite what i would consider to be a big party tune for the tech people. The tech people were in full force and loved it.

gimme a minute, i'll post the set.

maybe it was because of the beautiful sun out, the party outdoors on an island with the city in view...but his set was very good.

.......and it always depends on the venue...certain gigs = certain adjustments. Not every dj knows how to make those.

I can't say I've ever responded favorably to any of his productions, and in terms of DJ'ing, I tend to enjoy him a lot more when the material he plays is of a more downtempo orientation.

Since this is an "Offer your view on..." thread, I'll just say I really liked the Future History album, and assorted other productions, such as She's Worth It with Alexander Kowalski.

listen to the set i posted system...not because i think you would like it...but because you elaborate quite well and would tell me i've lost the plot.

get a move on is at 20 mins...before is just standard tech house, but that move to kick it up a notch makes me jealous. To the point that i actually attempted to use get a move on in one of my own sets with different tracks to get a similar affect.

"good artists borrow, great artists steal" ;p

i've edited this post 4 times...stop drinking, stop posting imo

i have 4 different presses of incident...i don't know why i bought them because they are the same tracks with diff album art and labels...but i love it

try cuing up 2 of the same records with the second staring on the first beat at the first break. if you understand my drunk talk, it is win.

beatjuggling = never fail.

he is forgiven for all the crap remixes he put out recently for his remix of "dark flower" alone

it gives me shivers, such an emotional track, but still works in a club. dont know many tracks like it

The Sigur Ros/PJ Harvey sequence at the end was brilliant.
