Not from my ass at all. They are known for it. And how can the EQ's not work as well as other mixers??

Well, i have never seen a behringer mixer in real life, nor used one, so my opinion means jack shit.

BUT, i have heard from many people on this site that they fall apart quickly, that the distortion is too much, that the EQs suck, the faders wear out.

and i know that the mixers have not been out that long.

on the other hand, i have used vestax and numark, and they have both been great, especially the vestax.

so, in my OPINION, i would stay away from behringer.

Hey guyz .. i need to ask u guyz one more thing( u guyz might start to realize that i am annoying) Is Numark Matrix 3 good enough ? coz i just find that mixer only cost me $229 .... which means my headache become worse coz i am confused which mixer i should get. I find it very good but the model is quite weird compare to standard Mixer.

This is my following option :

Vestax PCV-175 :$249
Vestax PMC-170A :$205
Numark DM3002X :$189
Numark Matrix 3 :$229

Peace, LeVouS

Cross that Matrix off of your list. It is a plastic piece of junk. That thing will probably break down after a month. You're better off getting the Vestax.

I actually heard that they had to recall the Matrix when they were first released. So DO NOT get the matrix. Get the 3002x or the vestax

and if you are going to get a vestax, i would get the 275 instead of the 175.

it's a little bit more dough, but it's worth it for hearing EQ in the headphones, and all the other extras you get.

Really? Have you actually used a matrix3?

Well, I have. Been using it rigorously well over a month now, approaching a year, and its still going strong. The matrix3 has voltage control faders, so they don't wear out as fast. They have level meters for all 3 channels, split/pan cue-ing, slope control, kill switches, etc. etc.

So actually, if you want to get the matrix3, I've been using it for almost a year now, no problems here. I only speak from experience.

pcv 275 is a bit more expensive. go for the pcv175 instead.

As for the matrix 3 i don't think it'll break soon, it has optical faders (means faders don't wear out). unless you use it in any building construction areas or something it will remain in one piece.

so what if they recalled it? that should be a plus not a minus, besides they have a guarantee don't they ???

i think if you're going for a numark go for the matrix 3, not the 3002X...

i know a guy that bought matrix 3, he said it was much more solid than what he expected. sure is no plastic piece of junk.

if i were you i'd go straight for the PCV 175, it might not be great, but it sure is A GUARANTEED *QUALITY* MIXER.

you got my point...

Its too expensive for me JohnSmith .. ofcoz if i have that budget i would not give further thought to buy that mixer

hahahhahaaA~ oh man .. this is going to be exciting ... i still cant decide which mixer i should get

i know that vestax is a quality mixer but too bad i had limited budget ( last option will be PVC-175) and also too bad PCV-175 doesnt have kill switch next to fader otherwise i would not give further thought

while Matrix 3 have all the good features ( kill switch next to fader and optical fader )

however PMC175 and DM3002X has cheaper prices (for the price DM3002X has all the good features except the fader quality which i dont really care.... i guess :P)

Btw Thx for all tranceaddicter who spend their time and have given me alot of info about the mixer

Peace, LeVouS

well, get the 175 if you have to, imo it's the best of those mixers.

just know that you can't hear the EQ in the cans.
