Yeah I read up on an article of it and noticed the date : 2003.

I assume they'll start doing some kind of combination of synthesis for even more options..?

And is it me, or does each form of synthesis seem to do a really good job of covering at least 1 aspect of a typical track...

for example...I find FM synthesis providing me the better FX and "whoosh", while 3xOSC gives me some of the better bass sounds (I use a 3xOSC for my benny-bass emulations), etc...

I've scoured around for some examples of fractal synthesis and came up empty handed...granular seems to be quite prevalent atm.

Fm is good at everything if you know what your doing. Which almost no one does.

Subtractive is also good for everything really, if you have enough oscillators and envelopes.

Right, and I delve way into it all the time, but the core samples have a very sugar coated poppy tonality which stops this being as good as it could be in my humble op.

I almost never use presets. Gladiator is powerful though and I've squeezed some goodness from it.

I prefer it to sylenth actually.
