THank you everyone, i think i'll make something in wordpress and lately purchase a domain. I'm already in a collective, this is not intended as a promotion tool (or at least it's not its main goal) but something to have all my shit organized in only one website.

Cool. Check out Dreamhost for your web hosting. They have super-easy installations for Wordpress, and their customer support is just amazing. Been using them for nearly 4 years now (both for regular shit and for my blog) and they are awesome.

There is no reason to stop with just one... (collective)

The more links you have out there the more of a chance to gain page rank.. it is one of those backward things on search engines where the more sites you have "the more important you are"

If you join a bunch of collectives that point to your website it not only increases presence on those but also increases yours.


Hosting whole sets can be bandwidth intensive. That I think is why they are often hosted elsewhere. It isn't difficult to get a 1 or 2 year unlimited account though for 10$ if you know where to look ----

Hosting sets on "point share" sites can get you downloads though, just a note. Some share sites give you "points" that can be used to buy one of their accounts for free for a month. This if you actually have a lot of traffic to their site.
