I understand why labels don't take demo's after years of hundreds of submissions a day, especially when some are completely pointless submissions. I do wish they would just write in the contact section 'we do not accept demos' or something.
Does anyone have the contact for:
-Doorn Records (is sending to the top label, Spinnin' in this case, better than the sublabel, or vice versa?)
-Coldharbour (I doubt the info@globaldjbrodcast one is right)
-Intec Digital
-Bedrock (the label and promo's for Digweed seems notorious for being elusive)
I am not egocentric enough to think MY expiriences matter that much, but I have sent out 3 sets of demos, all in the past year:
Flashover listened to every single one. It took them a month on the first one but they eventually listened.
Garuda listened to the one I sent.
Tone Diary listened to all of them.
Arnej Music listened (i think)
Armada listened to none (no surprise)
Anjuna didn't listen (however, I found a new email Jono put on a forum in July 2011 to try instead of the ponderous demo upload page on the site)
Be Youself didn't listen
Black Hole didn't however, the A&r, Mark is just really lazy. I have witnessed producers ask him on twitter to listen and he did and responded.
