Ah that makes more sense.. I was thinking for a second why settle when you want something else. But I wasn't aware the prices varied so much.

Oh well, it's nice having something else you can aim for in the long run.

To join in on the thread, last thing I bought were two cdj1000's second hand but in perfect condition for 1200 euro including a coffin case for the cdj's and a 800/92 size mixer.

my black macbook was stolen from me too, my own friends did it, i confronted them and i almost beat the shit outta him, i didnt' want my place to get messy so i asked to him leave

Thats is truly fucked up.

Similar thing happened to me years ago but with something way less expensive and I got it back before it left. My friend tried to leave with something up his jumper (sweater) and I saw the thing was missing before he got out of the room. I locked the door and told my friends no one was leaving until it was found. My other friend who was there honestly didn't know about it (his back was turned away) and he starts looking around the room, to help find it. Cue thieving friend "pantomiming" a search for the item only to suddenly find it where we had both just looked - both me and the other friend called bullshit on his antics and ejected him from my house. I never let him back in after that.

I call the police - tell them you saw him do it and think he has it at his house, they'll search his place and find it. You can then also sue that ****** for damages.
