Yeah, the whole project struck me as a bit pointless to start with, as there's only so much you can do when the originals are so dubbed out and spacy already. Somehow, just spacing things out even more and drowning them in even more bass and reverb works quite nicely, although I would never buy the CD without a serious soundsystem to play it on. If you do have that, however, the CD will be an absolute joy for the ears in this age of being assaulted by compression and midrange frequencies.
