I agree. I use to listen a lot to synthesizer stuff long before disco beats were added and it became trance. Never called it trance before that. However I was waiting for the disco beat back to be added back then as I can remember. JMJ - Fourth Rendez Vous increased that desire.

I think it was mentioned that synths back in those days had to have a physical component for each note and it's attributes. Times change.

And here it is the dickhead.

Clearly I was refering to "trance" as a hypnotic mood. Not as a genre part of edm in this case. But I see some people are a little bit retarded so they need a special underlining.

But here another topic is being opened up.

What is trance? A feeling, a mood or a genre limited and confined in edm? Why trance should be dance music? Can't it be a deep hypnotic mind trip?
