Ahhhh early-mid 90s hip-hop. It will make a come back after black people are done rapping to hip-house-trance-Guetta music.

I know in these threads we all like to go as underground as possible, and I can do that all day pullin up madvillain tunes from the 90's and deltron 3030 but i still lllooooooooooove this gem, and actually this whole album. makes me want to drive around the block with my hat over my eyes and get pulled over by popo for no reason like back in the day

ya but mobb deep were posers

they were originally from some richy ass part of NY. they met at an art school. formed the group their first album flopped hard, so they changed their style and went "hardcore gangster" at the time this style is what was getting credibility and ill admit their tunes were good, so they were accepted. They released that classic album infamous. and then in 2003 they tried to go commercial and flopped once again.

i dont consider them real hip hop. just 2 guys trying to ride the hip hop wave.

Hip hop has been taken over by the illuminati. The amount of rappers now bein open to it and throwing up the 666 sign is crazy. It makes sense, most rappers for the last 15 years have been worshipping money in lyrics and videos, brainwashing youth.

lol rich part? they grew up in Queensbridge houses 5 blocks away from my G'mas spot, aka the projects. also they were 18 when they dropped those early tracks. name a few people at 18 who could write like that.

omg how could i forget styles p, jada, and sheek.

^this was deff my summer track used to bump this a lot haha memories.

^ i like fab too.

and heres a lil AZ for those that dont know.

yo Eric i like your NAS posts. i think he's the best honestly. He's so humble in person and true. always made his money from hustlin music had a small clothing line for a lil but mostly made his $ off street music first. not like a lot of other rappers who invest in clothes, restaurants, clubs, etc. he stayed true to the game and gets a lot of street credit and respect from a lot of us.

jigggaaaa

i like this nas track too. he was deff in his lab commin out with some new joints. i like this sound
