That is cool; you are right Avocado trees need another to pollenate the flowers to produce the fruits.

Avocado trees are weird in that in the morning the flowers open up as females close in the afternoon, then open up at night as males, then never open up again. Weird how that works.

Basically to circumvent this issue cultivators plant 2-3 trees in one spot so that the avocados can cross pollenate easier.

How big is this tree; and where did you get it from?

P.S. I am growing my own from seed, but am going to buy some avocado trees for cloning so that I may eventually have enough cloned trees for a farm.
