I,am back this is what I would do start with Compression, I would only compress this track lighty it don,t need munch but you still have to get the track as loud and as full as possible . With the EQ I would boost it 3 to 4 DB at 80-90 for the low end , 12k - 14k 4 to 5 DB for the high end , and in the middle decrease at 3k for 2-3 DB that should make it sweet . Than I would ad sum reverb just a little , don`t over do it . That should have your track sounding fine .

Ok Iznasty I ve just downloaded your song and I am listening to it now , the overall song is nice its not my style but any one that listens to PSY or GOA should agre with me . the main problem in this song { not to sound harsh } is the song construction again , I`am guessing the you haven`t been producing for long , you have the right I dears but it dosen`t all come together . This is what I would do . the songs progresses nicely as it builds until the 2:18 mark when you add the new bass line with the pleasant break of hearing a cord progression , but you need to turn it down a little . At 2:45 you again bring another new bass line for the breakdown but you should have left the other one and just played the last cord note of that bassline progression repetively until it fads , then bring it back with the new high hats { the fast tapping }at the 3:12 with the full bassline cord progression . The fast tapping fad that in slowly , peak it for 30 sec to 1:00 than fad it out before the song finishes . this will add a nice climax { crescendo } to finish the song . Also bring the kick up alittle and it needs to be Mastered but you probley all ready new that **** I hope this helps **** and keep up the good work .

Yeah I'm just listening to Time Never Ending.

I agree with Pete - the song structure needs a bit of a think but overall I think there's some really cool ideas. This track could be a really super dark evil bitch of a progressive monster.

If I was remixing this track, I'd do several things to the structure:

1. I would have a minute or so of beat n bass before any strings. In this minute I'd probably build up the beat to kind of 3 quarters full (in terms of layers of beat). I'd definately keep the bassline on one note.

2. Then I'd have a small build in the beat to a breakdown (this is the point at which the preceding track would finish/mix out) where the strings would come in, lose the beats but keep the bassline bouncing. You could maybe have a small statement of the main tune (I mean those quavers in the treble) kind of filtered in and out.

3. Then I'd slowly build up the beat and build the track in the same way that you do from 1.15 to 2.05 with a similar breakdown except it should maybe last a lot longer, maybe about 2 minutes or so.

4. This 2nd breakdown should keep the bass static and be fairly short before having a short build back into the beat/bassline/tune. After another long build like in part 3, the bassline should change for about 30 secs and then go back to static at a short break (probably just lose the kick drum) with a short build into an outro.

I think the sounds are OK - your kick drum does need sorting - try a boost at 60Hz for oomph and 1800Hz for a click. Put a bit of compression on it and it should sound a lot better. Once you've got it sounding right, it should cut through the mix without having to be much louder than it is.

The only thing I don't like is that semi-quaver percussion rhythm that comes in at 3.15 but otherwise cool.

If this had a bit of production work on it and got a release, I'd buy it.
