lol. Oscar why do you even bother? You know that by no human standards that could even come close to being true with all the filth that is coming out every day.

Levels is...decent...damn better than a lot of the shite dominating the charts at the moment. It sounds absolutely nothing like...a billion and one similar tracks in this big-room style. I always had a soft spot.

Of course they didn't take it seriously, but that doesn't mean it's shit.
Any track with out-of-tune vocals and poorly produced instrumentals (which are in keys chosen purely for irony/sarcasm) has no business being deemed as anything else. I hate the [mis]use of this reasoning just as much as anyone else, but I really do think that if anyone else had produced that nonsense, it would have been tossed aside as quickly as any other obstacle to a worthwhile beatport purchase.

Dude you are so wrong. That track is just supposed to be fun. Not the kind I necessarily subscribe to (even though I've heard Johnny White drop it at a party several months before it was released), it's fun for some nonetheless. Is it even close to being track of the year? no, not really. But it's so far from being the worst it's almost unimaginable.

I know exactly what the point of it is, and I have nothing wrong with fun, but it has to at least approach some acceptable level of musicianship imo.
