cheers
Oh this is so much better to hear, you have no idea.
The attack in the kick is quite loud and noisy maybe, but if you're happy with the kick I'd say leave it. Intro synth is much better on the lower mids. Hat is definitely a little loud and forward. Have you boosted it around 10 kHz? Bass sounds good with the kick, but maybe you could bring in a bit more low-end by increasing the level of the bass string I barely hear in the intro. This should bring in more weight under the kick, or perhaps you're just high-passing the sub too steeply? I think you could fill the mid range (especially upper) with more instruments, as it's sounding a bit bassy and trebly and empty by the end. Otherwise some more EQ could do. Also I'm curious to hear what's happening in the extreme treble, so if you want to post a lossless version of the climax I can help you out there. Then all it needs is a good master and you've got yourself a track.

It actually gives me a 128 kbps MP3. That's why I asked. But I'd only need to hear a small portion with everything playing (i.e. the climax) and you can render it to FLAC or MP3 320 and send me the link.

Hmm, the increase in the intro bass/string is not really what I had in mind. I think it's too distracting now so maybe go back or set it how you want.
The treble is much better now, though I think the off hat could come up a bit (so it's somewhere in between).
But it's good you uploaded the full MP3 because it's just what I was afraid of. The sweep at 2:03 is too high on extreme treble frequencies (likewise at 2:31), so roll them off with a lowpass set to a sufficiently high frequency. This might be tricky to get right unless you have accurate monitoring but try from around 18 or 20 kHz depending on the Q (which would have to be fairly tight). Of course this could be done in the mastering too, so not entirely essential.
A similar treatment would have to be applied to the synth at 3:58. Also I'm not finding the EQ curve on it that great now that I hear it at higher quality. Try giving it a boost around 3.5 kHz and this should take away from the sharp extreme treble too and make it sweeter and more present. A good EQ is of course key.
Finally, I notice the right channel is a little louder than the left. I assume the kick is centred and most probably mono, so it's probably due to the bass' and later the lead's delay. Maybe you could offset something more to the left.
Always so much better hearing the WAV. Nothing to report there.

ok...so i took care of those extreme highs you pointed out..well i did my best there...with the tools i have..(working with crappy sony headphones only)
i rolled off at around 18k....
with the synth at 3:58, i took you advise and boosted some at 3.5k and rolled that one off at around 18k also..and i could head the difference...made it more present...anyway you can hear for yourself..
I also offset the left channel so that both channels are balanced...somewhat...again, see how it sounds to you..
im hoping this is close now for mastering...something that will be interesting...im sure..
thanks again
Clive

From what I can hear (it's 192 kbps now), it's sounding just OK.

Definitely like this now too.

Do you mean you panned the entire master track, including the kick? You definitely want to keep that dead centre, as well as the lower part of the bass. The right channel is still a little louder than the left but almost not noticeable.
