The thing is it's original and different and has a nice dark vibe and decent though subbtle grove. It's way better than 99% of so called 'progressive' trance tunes I hear for example where people all dish up the smae old pluck sounds.

I still listen to his show but I'm finding I now always skip the first hour at least if not more to get to the tracks that I like.

Of course, that's true. ASOT Top 20 is a mediocre list, but this is no comparison. I'm not trying to be pretentious, or to ridicule people's tastes, but for the life of me (and believe me, I've tried), I just cannot see what is good about this track. At least with a generic, cheesy track like Dash Berlin - Waiting (for example), I can see the value in drunkenly singing along to the song, or watching really hot, ditzy girls do the same. In this particular case, how on earth is anything about this song good? It reminds me of that joke skylab track that went viral on youtube. It's musically off.

Its not too bad of a track tbh, a can see how it would work in a set.
Its really groovy and would get you going when your smashed and get you lost in the track. As for being #1 well for me it wouldn't be close to that position but thats down to my taste's in music and I'm out of touch.

IT's definately got a groove to it with that 80's vibe.

Can someone please:

1. Tell me I'm not the only one thinking that this must be a joke?
2. Tell me that very little production ability goes into making something like this?

If the answer's to either of those is no, I'll laugh my ass off and probably cry right after.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

that song is terrible. IMO

and NO i can defs not see it working on a dancefloor. Unless you gave everyone free tabs and and forced them to drink some laced coolaid

edit: add a little IMO
