It took me a while to get used to the controls. I still am not super happy with how the Xbox controllers handle the game but I guess I have to get used to it or buy the stick. I think the PS3 controllers would be much better. The graphics and the backgrounds are amazing. Online play is pretty decent and not as bad as I expected in the way of laggy gameplay. Its pretty solid.

Overall happy so far after 2 days of playing.

What does everyone think?

yea I've seen a lot of complaints from the 360 users about the controls...the ps3 version is the ideal platform this time around.

i don't know if it's the same game, but it came back to the roots like a saw trailers last year.

awesome gameplay. 2d games are the best for me. I own Wii (plus many other Nintendo consoles), so i'm thinking to buy ps3 just for that MK game. It's exactly like i played 15 years ago. Not those shity 3d comic fighters with any after MK Ultimate. Also just hate Street Fighter series. Only Killer Instincts in 2 fighting are great, in 3d only Tekken 2.

bought it on friday because my brother was comming home from school, give us something to do on the weekend...

Unfortunately for my girlfriend...that's ALL we did on the weekend.

even if the game broke in half right now, still worth the $70 i spent.

So I just ordered an adapter from Hong Kong that lets you use PS2/PS3 controllers on the Xbox 360. The reviews are very good. I should get it in about a week. I have high hopes for this thing as I'm really sick of the 360 controller for MK.

just wana remind all of you 360 owners, there's a new xbox controller that has an adjustable D pad, so you can't move it diagonally.
