Skrillex does electro house far more often than dubstep. I don't know why everyone acts like all of his tracks are dubstep.
vv One of my favourite tracks by him.
Along with his Bad Romance, Alejandro, Rock That Body remixes, This is a Shark Attack, Slats Slats Slats, I Am Skrillex...
...etc. All electro house.
Of the top of my head the only solely dubstep tracks I can think of are Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, Scatta, his In For The Kill remix, Fucking Die Pt 1 and is Hey Sexy Lady remix.
Justice or Daft Punk have almost no songs that are not almost completely based on chopped up Samples from other tracks (usually from the 70s).
sorry, i was about to go nuts and correct you but i think you wrote "are not almost" when you wanted to say, "are almost" ? cause at the end when you say from the 70s you are right.
Justice's ENTIRE album is sampled, Daft Punks ENTIRE catalog is sampled(other than the new Tron bit). This i can prove with about 25 videos

My comment about fidget house was a fucking joke. I have no idea what fidget house is.
Squirm trance is where it's at.

The Prodigy are also masters of sampling. Sampling is an art in itself, you can spend a lot of time creating a loop without having the guarantee of sucess or pick an already existing and modify it, both things have their difficulties and good/bad things.

Daft Punk's ENTIRE catalog is not sampled. A LOT of their stuff is - the majority of their stuff is, certainly - but to say that every single note, effect, etc. is sampled is not true. I know I'm nitpicking here, but this has just always annoyed me.

that's obvious, sampling absolutely everything would be a chinese work.
