I have a Kindle 3 Wifi+3G and I cannot put it down. It's the greatest device ever made, in my opinion. All I do now is read.

Why the fuck is the DX so expensive!? It is the right size (6" is too small), but that price is just too much. I'd rather pay an extra $100 and get a full tablet.

If anybody is going to buy an ebook reader and you're hung up on the Kobo or Kindle, get the Kindle. The screen is a generation newer and is much easier to read, and it turns pages faster. I bought my mom a Kobo for Mother's Day last year, and I compared them this past weekend - it's night and day, the Kindle's screen is so much nicer.

Because it's a 9" screen. It's one of very few out there, and as such it's a very niche product. Nobody buys them. Also if you try to read for any extended period of time on an LCD display-equipped tablet, your eyes will bleed and you will die from an aneurysm.
