Back on topic, wireless electricity technology is actually here.

I remember seeing this film made in the fifties where a guy from the future came back in time (to the 40's) and was laughing that we still get our power from cables.

60 years on and we're only just making it a lab possibility.

MIT have a project where they've been able to power a flatscreen TV from a remote source, but then further away you get the more power drop you have, and even at 1 foot it's horribly inefficient.

There is another source though, at a British university last year they managed to teleport a laser beam over a distance of 4 foot. The chinese then attempted it and manged a couple of miles. They reckon that aside from the setup energy or the devices needed to make the TX and RX, it basically lost next to nothing in terms of it's own energy.

So soon, all our things could be powered off teleported lasers. Even saying that out loud is cool.

Back on to the heroin, you have to realize a very large amount of drugs, especially heroin and coke, come in to the country through official channels receiving bribes and payoffs. The rest comes through commercial cargo planes and shipping containers, hence why NJ gets a lot of it. I’m not into conspiracy theories as such but it is naive to believe that solution to the vast majority of the world problems do not already exist. The global elite is hell bent on securing more power at an alarming rate and globalisation

I believe that there is viable alternatives to oil but as per the above to many people stand to loose to much money.

This is exactly true and I'd like to offer a quote by one of my favorite people Robert Anton Wilson:

Actually, I've been looking in to wireless audio recently and I'm amazed how few options there are.

You've got sonos, which I've installed a few times but you're getting in to home automation territory with so much crap you'll likely never use, not to mention $1000+ at trade pricing but the most basic of systems and a dedicated internet connection etc.

You've then a got a few wireless stereo and satellite speaker setups, most of which sound like utter crap, unless you get in to B&O territory but again the cost is even more ridiculous.

So I found this system called soundcast which lets you transmit and receive audio up to distances of 300ft (150 indoors and through walls) and uses the similar technology as wireless phones (albeit different bands to avoid interference).

Looks like I'm going to try them and I'll report back here.

apple with their airtunes/airport express is the closest solution, but hardly any quality dac in there. also its meant for iTunes only but its possible to buy a program called airfoil that allows you to stream whatever from your computer to the airport. and it has optical output so you could connect a external DAC from there again, or use DSP speakers maybe. one airport next to each monitor would also work actually, making things pretty wireless. i dont know about delay though. Give it time, as DSP monitors will slowly take over, inbuild wireless solutions will come after as they are related.

Renault, Nissan, GM and plenty others have but hundreds of billions into electric cars which are now beinmg sold and are the future.

Plenty of medicines and treatments have made the world obstensibly better, although I would argue over population is a negative side effect and a major problem given the finitie resources.

Back on topic > my cables are no hassle.I makke sure they all dangle in thier own little space without becomming entangled. It's all in the original way you set it up. Mind you I dont have much hardware so it's perhaps easier on account of this!

There are those "cable tidy" devices that keep the wires neat.

Then you could group "power wires" away from signal wires....keep it
all tidy...

It should only take ONE set up....if the studio is never being moved...
right...

For occasional gear that is being moved...leave a permanent set of
cables at the common spot....then get other transportable cables that
can be whipped into action if need be....

that's my take on it.
