well...i guess it worked a little bit. i dont think its warped as bad as before i stuck it in the oven. maybe im doing something wrong. after i pulled it out the oven, it looked really warped. but the vinyl was soft, so i stuck it in its sleeve and jacket and set :
4 dictionaries
2 encyclopedias
3 huge art books
& a phone book
along w/ 5 ceramic dinner plates on top of the jacket.
all in all, i think its not worth the trouble of messing w/ in the first place.

didn't work for me
it was all soft and wobbly ya but afterwards i like it compress for like half an hour and there might have been a little change but not really a big diffence.

adding to my last post:
no, the heat did not damage the record. i read somebody mention that heat would be harmful to the grooves, but it sounded perfect, with no scratches or needle jumps. [and i heated the damn thing up twice @ 170F+.

i heated it up 2 times as well at the same temp.
my oven didn't have 150f lol

You might have to use a little more heat it's not an exact science, out of all the records I've tried it on each one has reacted differently, but it will work, however it is a lot of trouble to go through, I've only done it on records that there's no way I can replace. If I can still buy it in the store, I will cause it's not worth the effort.
