About bloody time! You wouldn't believe the number of pointless arguments we have had in our house about the volume being too loud, when it is not even anyone's fault. This is one of the most ridiculous things ever. You should be able to relax and unwind when watching the box, and not have to continually anticipate the adverts and have the volume button at the ready. What do the advertisers have to gain? If anything, I get so pissed off that I vow to pay even less attention to their daft marketing efforts. Anyway, who the hell are they to be in control of the volume for my TV?

They do that so that when you leave the room (as most ppl do during commercials for bathroom, kitchen etc) you still hear the ad...
