Actually, it's because I wanted to see the impact of what I call "The Lennon Effect": it's nearly impossible to spend your life without hearing this song at least once, and it's also impossible, I believe, that everyone who listens to it is against religion, against nationalism, against capitalism an so forth. As John Lennon himself said, the moment he sugar-coated his message, people paid attention, so I'd like to know if there's really any truth to this...
(To be honest, I can't listen to anything without synths AND under 170 BPM for too long )
