I wouldn't jump through those hoops to be on that boat.
Why are you shocked? It's not the Sasha + Digweed party like it is and it's not the same main group (Ruby Skye out of SF) behind the party this year, but the setup and premise of the party is the same as it's always been.
It's a party with about 500 guests (less depending on capacity). 400 of those guests are invited. They are industry players from all over the country/world. Promoters, club owners, agents, etc. The last 100 tickets are sold to the public using the same method (send an email, flaunt yourself) they have in years past. Can't say what the ticket price is because in past year it would vary from person to person it seemed. Anyhow, if the organization with checking in, getting on the boat, etc is as good as years past with great music, this pretty much ends up always being the best party or def top three every year. It's consistent.
