eek, 11-2. Thats really disappointing: his shows in ROXY (etc) were epic for the entire 6, 7, 8, 9 hours But, you know for those who never made it to those parties, at least he appears to have rocked it out for them! Thats definitely the most important thing, although I would have been totally caught off guard with the lights flashing on at 2, wtf is this, Boston???

I wouldn't be so quick to remind me of his Twilo days as I was there for pretty much every gig of his there and Roxy and Roseland and all the randoms inbetween - I know what he is capable of and yearn for it more than probably all of you combined

However with that being said - I knew going in it was going to be a shortened gig and coupled with the Provocateur duel booking - He could of just wrapped up in an hour or so and went off to get the bigger paycheck - He closed Terminal 5 and I heard that he went on VERY LATE at Provocateur which makes me happy.....

Tom told me tickets were like 70 bucks for this party. $70 for a three hout set That ridiculous

Damn 70 dollars, im glad I got mine early...but if I had to pay that much for anyone Id pay that to see PVD but not for three hours though.

keep seeing provocateur (sp?) getting all these gigs - is the door a pain there? what's the deal with that place?

I don't think the 3 hour set was PVD's own idea. Terminal 5 just can't stay open past that time. I read a lot of people like, trash-talking the guy leading up to the event for the short set time. It just wasn't his call. He obviously initially thought he was supposed to play much later, as he was announcing a 5am closing on his Twitter a couple weeks ago. This event was just more of a concert type of deal, and that was the promoter's call.

totally agree. Despite the shitty set time, I had NO idea why people were getting on PVD's ass so much

After all was said and done it was perfect

My point is that he went to play at some bottle service club to get paid $$$. I respect that hes out there trying to make a buck and who am I to judge, BUT hes been doing this for a long long time and he should no better then to spin at a bottle service club where most of his true fans can not even come out to enjoy the set. Trust me he doesnt need the money, hes made a ton off of us over the years.
