One of the devices on this page will do what you want for up to four different parameters. Only downside is that you need Max For Live if you don't have it already. You could also build something similar quite easily.

When I bought it I imagined using it primarily for audio, but I'm finding utility patches like that incredibly useful!

1/it wouldn't make a difference because massive can assign CCs to any parameter.
2/ even if you were using a synth without midi learn, you could use the midi learn feature in ableton and run the automation through there.

its really not. i find it retarded that one cannot assign midi from one channel into a different channel in ableton though (should be able to recieve from any channel). please correct me if this is possible, but i dont think you would ask if it where. even Reason can do this.

You can route midi between channels easily if thats what you're asking.

There are lots of ways to accomplish whatever the OP is asking for. If you're recording automation off a knob, then simply assign that knob to control more than one parameter and arm your entire project for recording in arrangement view. I think that'll work.

Alternatively, just cut and paste the automation from one channel to the other. Its very easy.

Alternateively, you'll find you probably get a better wider sound from doing them seperately, and can make your track sound more complex.

I'm pretty sure instrument racks is the solution. You can layer up as many synths as you want in the rack and use the macro controls to assign multiple parameters to one macro.

Somewhere in there (it's been a while since I've used instrument racks) is a little button revealing the independant send/returns for each intrument in the rack.

Yeah, now I use a instrument rack. I also thought that they have knobs for the send-channels, but apparently not (sadly, only Drum-Racks have those knobs).

Yeah drum racks does have individual sends, I thought IR's did as well but maybe not.

No good if you want the three synths to be playing different notes.
