1/it wouldn't make a difference because massive can assign CCs to any parameter.
2/ even if you were using a synth without midi learn, you could use the midi learn feature in ableton and run the automation through there.

You can route midi between channels easily if thats what you're asking.
There are lots of ways to accomplish whatever the OP is asking for. If you're recording automation off a knob, then simply assign that knob to control more than one parameter and arm your entire project for recording in arrangement view. I think that'll work.
Alternatively, just cut and paste the automation from one channel to the other. Its very easy.
Alternateively, you'll find you probably get a better wider sound from doing them seperately, and can make your track sound more complex.
