Do you know what kind of plugins you're looking for, at least? Synthesizers? Compressors? Equalizers? All of those and more are related to the kick and bassline and all are completely separate subjects.

If you're just expecting to be able to download a plugin and have your track magically sound better then prepare to be disappointed.

Ok, ill let you in on a little secret. for bass sounds you need either the synth in ableton called ''Analog'' or ''AAS Ultra Analog''
these synth are what the pros use for big basses. add your ssl on it and also a pultec eq then make it go through a vintage tape machine , then through a plate reverb with about 500 ms of decay then recompress it throught an empirical labs distressor. then you would usually layer it with a moog voyager saw wave (you need the blue edition of course, very important) then send this back to your daw and process it through T-racks Deluxe. for drums you need an elektron machinedrum when your done composing. compress the drums with an urei 1176, add ur ssl again then cytomic the glue for a bit of dictortion. then buss the bass and drums together and compress it through the sonnox oxford compressor with the warm setting at about 65% then through your ssl again and you should be good my friend.

if you do not know how a compressor works or what it does with a sound at different settings there is no point in better sounding compressors. Your music will still sound shit if you don't know how to use the tools and what are you after in the sound.

Also from experience a proper EQ of elements will polish the sound much better than any compressor.

Matieu, I know those products, but the uri comperssor needs a hardware if im not mastking , i founded that the Teletronix gives better results , littel bit warmer. to the guy that said that "i need to know what compressor does - i know. and like the last guy said there several plug-ins that help, for example the presets that Waves put in there plug-ins are good point to start.

and Matieu, i know the vintage warmer, and usually i prefer to use Oxfford Infltor that gives the same results. for the others plug-ins that you recommended - i will check them.
agreed with the guy that said that with an good EQ use on 2 waves form (sine + saw) i can get good results (to creat some Bassline), but still needed good EQ, The Oxfford R3 is great.

thank for the answer, I'm currently using cubase 5 and the built-in presets sounds littel bit poor to me, and by adding some harmony added plugs, the results just not there. when i upgrade to the ssl - i felt big difference. that's why i opened this thrid. i dont want to be come a Wave's addicted, and the other plugs (like the woderfull UAD's) needs Hardwaer.

Ereyone here that just think that the compostion is everything make a big mistake, especially if we are talking about advanced electronic dance production. maybe i'm a biggner in the field but i'm learning the basics professionaly at this days, hope the people here will understand that.

I made a weird post eh? I was jokng but at the same time recommended you lots of plugs lol. And yes you need a UAD card for the urei. Out of all the plugs I recommended the one I recommend the most is ''Cytomic the glue'' its 99$ but its pure quality. like better than stuff that is 2 times the price. To be honest tho, processing is not everything you still need good synths. And I was joking about ''AAS Ultra Analog'' and the other synth lol.
