though, i'm leaning toward agreeing with srussell0018. deadmau5 makes a lot more than what the deadhead is gonna end up selling for, so its not his money he's donating, but rather someone else's. he's just giving up a, albeit expensive, prop.

bypass the whole publicity of it all and just give the money directly to charity. yup.
