ugh, i've only been with T-Mobile for a year, but the whole point was to get away from AT&T. now i gotta go somewhere else when my contract runs out!

Sprint/Boost/Virgin or Verizon? who has the best plans with an emphasis on the text/data. i rarely ever make phone calls (<100mins/mo). What works best at massive events? i'm sick of being at these things and not being able to text people.

if your work offers you a discounted phone bill, USE IT.

without a doubt.... my company has a huge account with verizon and we get 20% off. If you dont want to as HR, you can just bring a pay stub into your carrier and they will verify it for you. Saves me almost 40 bucks a month

Probably Boost Mobile, but with Boost mobile there is only a limited amount of phones and you will have to pay for your phone upfront.

You can probably get a free phone with a contract.

Virgin America (Sprint) $25 bucks for unlimited data, text/MMS and like 300 minutes. Pay as you go. It's a freaking STEAL for what you are getting...

I would be all over that if they had the iPhone.

Ive had T-mobile for 8 years, never had one complaint until a few weeks ago when their "4g" (just a higher capped 3G service) network was launched in LA and their service has deteriorated the past few weeks (I guess the sale must have been why) As long as I get my unlimited everything for 80 bucks I could care less, but I've heard so many horror stories with shitty AT&T. I used to have cingular back in the day and they sucked too.

Any AT&T people can verify how their data plans work? T-mobile gives you everything for 30 bucks, unlimited data. If they don't give me uncapped amount, I'll gladly go to Verizon at this point. If I remember correctly Verizon works in Toronto right (for those that know)? That was the whole point I originally signed up for T-mobile at the time since they had a partnership with Rogers.

Here's how AT&T data works:
Non smartphone or any non AT&T branded phone that you buy full price and AT&T doesn't know that it IS a smartphone: $15/mo unlimited - no tethering allowed
Smartphones:
- 200MB $15/mo (reminder emails & texts at 65, 90 and 100% usage), once exceeded $15 for another 200MB block - no tethering allowed
- 2GB $25/mo, once exceeded $10 for another 1GB block - tethering is $20 and gives you an additional 2GB
- $30 for grandfathered unlimited data iphones or smartphones that replace you iphone - tethering additional

do you have to buy a phone form them or will any unlocked sprint-network compatible phone work? Boost uses Sprints network, right? i've always bought my phones outright ahead of time, so that's no problem.

i just want reliable service at massives (or conventions, festivals...all the things i go to with overloaded cell towers), y'know? i'm tired of the run-around trying to meet up w/people with no means of communication that tMobile has oh so graciously provided me with over the past year (and AT&T the years before them)

45$ unlimited national, unlimited international to other mobile #'s
Unlimited mins, text, data, AND GPS with free map updates for life, with no contract! No any additional fee's just 45.00 straight up (with tax of course) Set up for auto pay, they just deduct it every 30 days and send u a txt telling u they have done so.

They use ATT, Verizon, & Tmobiles lines.

Got this phone

Cuz I was switching from blackberry and it was the most similar layout.

***I absolutely hate sprint, just went through a 3-year court battle with them! Which is why I am not so eager to get back into a phone contract with ANY provider***
