from last year: DJ Koze, Hakim Guelmi & Maher Daniel's sets all stand out in my mind.

Best set ever at piknic for me is The Ricardo vs. Richie one from 2006. Hands down.

My favorite, with Joris right behind him.

And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

Joris Voorn in 2009 was my favorite Piknic set. I went with just two friends, and we were pretty hung over from the night before so we had brought a blanket and we were just sprawled out on the grass, but the choons he was playing literally dragged us onto the dance floor like zombies. The summer party vibe he created, to me was just incredible. Hearing this track at sun set on a beatiful summer day = priceless:

Joris in 09 was probably it for me too. It was really just a perfect day all around.

Honourable mantion to Villalobos vs Zip, just because oddly enough the shit weather made the party better. Less stragglers and people fucked up for the sake of being fucked up...and more music geeks.

I also have a thing for the Fred Everything and JT Donaldson days....the music played is perfect for outdoors shows in summer. Nick Holder would be kinda nice too.

I had such a great time at that party, but listening to the mp3 afterwards I realized my impression would have been very different if I hadn't been there in person. The combination of the elements painted a very different picture.
