Common mistake... there are a lot of people out there who have fooled many of you to think that they disclose their actual download speed in their Napster setup. They set it low low low so that people like you don't find them 'cause you're looking for Cable+ speeds. I download from people who have registered at 14K and their output is more like 90+K... DSL or Cable, or, if you're real lucky, T1 or T3. Don't let them fool you. Search for all speeds when you look for your tune and download from the lowest ping rate.

Even better... download from http://www.bearshare.com and get a wicked Win cllient for the gnutella program. It shows QOS (Quality of Service) at different levels and allows you to find a hell of a lot more tunes. No masking of "illegal" files.

yeah seriously...i hardly ever trust anyone with 14.4 connection. who in there right mind still uses a friggin' 14.4 modem in this day and age?? 95% of these ppl have either T1s or cable at least. they like to 'hide' so to speak. hehe.

BearShare ver3 has 2 different "spyware" programs along with it. Try to find an older version like 2.2. If anyone is interested I know where you can find this version.
