Too bad a lot of DJs don't want to play there. And it's not because of the crowd. And that LED wall doesn't cut it versus the other venues productions. That said, LMD is doing what it can do and for that I give them praise. They are up against a lot at Circus.
And Circus' sound is not better than most major EDM clubs. Between the ones in LA (Avalon, Henry Fonda, Vanguard, Circus) and SF (1015, Ruby Skye), it by far has the worst.
But that's not LMD's fault in the end. So I don't hold it against them. But to say it has better sound than most is far from reality.
This post is of my own accord and does not reflect any group, club, person, DJ, or anyone I may or may not be associated with. |
I meant compared to most clubs in "regular" cities. I know it's not up to par by LA, NYC, SF, and Miami standards.
That said, they bring DJs that no one else brings. I'm thankful I get to see a lot of the guys they bring to town, cause I have a feeling that without LMD they'd just skip LA altogether.
Circus will definitely need a remodel/overhaul at some point in the near future, but it's a great place to hang out and hear trance as it is.
