No rubber.. it makes the plater way heavier. U can get used to mixing that way, and u can mix successfully, but when u mix at someone else's party using their equipment (chances are 99% clubs and people dont use rubbers), then you will have to adjust with no rubber.

the slipmat and rubber can't stick to each other

take that damm rubber off!

slipmats were not meant to fit on rubber. rubber is to directly place the vinyl on! and it's made to hold it in place, with the rubber on, when you move the vinyl the whole platter moves with it too. that is pretty bad for your deck+you hands will get sooooo fucking tired. only place you slipmats on the bare platter. slipmats are made to slip on suck slick surfaces+to stick on vinyl...

am i right jdat?

to clarify it doesnt hurt your deck if you slow down or reverse the platter so long as it is direct drive, because it is turned by the magnets... but like the rubber mat is not for djing hehe....

sorry about that, i just thought that it would harm decks.
my experiencxes on decks i've seen (mostly really old ones, and not techs and such dj decks) gave me the impression that slowing down or reversing would harm the motor...

anyway, about the rubber. that was actually my point. it is made to stick on the vinyl AND to the platter...
