I see your logic, and I agree that Pastor Jones is a shit-eater who shouldn't be allowed any publicity whatsoever, but his entire point is that Islam breeds violence... and so in indignant objection to this, a group of Islamic men storm a UN Compound and murder 7 people. WHAT?

Men should be held accountable for their actions. Pastor Jones burned a book and said some harsh words, but that is the extent of his pathetic part in this. To blatantly ignore that the murderers are responsible for pulling their triggers is to completely undermine their accountability as human beings in society, and frankly, borders on an insult to the potential of the third world to pull itself out of squalor despite its admitted fetters by first world occupation. It's as though you're saying the shooters could not possibly be held reponsible - after all, they're just stupid Tribals.

Ok, I didn't mention the guys that pulled the triggers. Yes they are MORE SO at fault than Pastor Jones as they reacted to an insult essentially. Don't get me wrong, they should be the first ones to be punished. I guess I didn't make that clear, but I thought it was obvious, my mistake.

Jackson, I think I know what you're talking about. he's a total douche and his actions did spark somewhat of an international uprising. was it him specifically? was there other details we're not aware of? possibly. while he's a total douche and probably shouldn't have done this...on the other hand, it's more aggrevating to me that people go to such lengths of violence so fast. (of course, there are a lot of details that perhaps we don't know about them either). all in all, it's a crap situation.
